EDUCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

PHILIPPINE CULTURAL & CIVIC CENTER FOUNDATION (PCCCF) SCHOLARSHIPS

The Philippine Cultural and Civic Center Foundation (PCCCF) invites college-bound and returning college students to apply for one of two scholarships for the 2024-25 academic year:
• Dr. Maximo Librada Cueto and Dr. Leticia Palomares Cueto Scholarship• Mr. George Pechangco Gequillana & Mrs. Rosario dela Llana Gequillana Scholarship
Amount of each scholarship: $1,000
Deadline for applications: July 31, 2024 To receive the application form, or if you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Rebecca Toledo at pcccfwisconsin@gmail.com. Please write PCCCF Scholarship on the subject line.
The PCCCF’s Scholarship Committee will review applications based on the following qualifications. QUALIFICATIONS:• Wisconsin resident of Filipino descent and good moral character• Letter of acceptance OR proof of enrollment at a two-year college or four-year college/university• GPA of 2.5 or higher (on a 4.0 scale) in the preceding academic year. Copy of transcript required.• Letters of recommendation: (1) academic reference; and (2) character reference. The recommendations must come from individuals who are unrelated to the applicant.• Personal Essay (500-word limit) – Topic: The Value of Higher Education to Me• Financial need based on the Expected Family Contribution (EFC) shown on the Student Aid Report (SAR) of the Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application. Copy of the SAR with EFC amount is required. The applicant must submit this scholarship application form along with the following information as attachments to one email message. • Copy of your transcript from the most recent academic year attended• Letter of acceptance OR proof of enrollment at a two-year college or four-year college/university in a technical/ vocational or undergraduate program• Letters of recommendation: (1) academic reference; and (2) character reference. The recommendations must come from individuals who are unrelated to the applicant.• Personal Essay (500-word limit): The Value of Higher Education to Me Applications must be emailed by the applicant by July 31, 2024.
